The Christmas Edit

This Christmas we’ve teamed up with ghd to create four looks to see you through the Zoom Christmas cocktails at home this season. The Classic Bob has made a huge comeback post lockdown with the style-conscious among us choosing to update their look in a more economic way – with a shorter haircut they know they can trust and will see them through any local lockdowns.

Retro Waves

First blow-dry the hair smooth with a ghd ceramic vented radial brush.  Next take 3 inch horizontal sections, starting from underneath the hair, working up to the parting and wrap around a ghd curve creative curl wand. Pin each section to the head in a barrel shape and leave to cool. Once cool remove the pins and brush through encouraging the wave movement.

Chic Curls

Smooth hair using a ghd ceramic vented radial brush. Add a side parting and using a ghd curve classic curl tong, take random sections (a little wider than the tong) and twist hair around the tong in opposite directions. Top Tip – make sure the hair is tonged away from the face to aid width and volume.  Finally tousle the hair with fingers and tuck hair behind the ear with a low side parting

Straight and Sleek

Blow-dry hair smooth from underneath the hair, up to the parting using a ghd paddle brush.  Once dry smooth the hair section by section using a ghd platinum+ hair straightener. Top tip – bevel each section to avoid it looking too flat.

Blow Out

Blow-dry hair using a ghd ceramic vented radial brush section by section and pin to the top of the head, allowing the hair to cool into a chic curl.  Once cool wrap each section of the hair around a ghd curve classic curl tong and brush through with fingers.
