Headmasters Wandsworth Wins the L’Oréal Colour Specialist Award
We are thrilled to announce Headmasters Wandsworth as the winner of the prestigious L’Oréal Colour Specialist Award at the 67th Annual L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2023 competition!
The L’Oréal Colour Specialist Award: Celebrating Artistry and Creativity The L’Oréal Colour Specialist Award, a highly coveted category in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy competition, celebrates the artistry and creativity of hair colourists. Entrants were tasked with creating a well-executed, inspirational, and modern colour look on any model, regardless of gender or hair type. The look had to be complemented by a beautiful style, finish, and overall appearance, drawing inspiration from upcoming trends.
To be eligible for this award, colourists were amongst the elite L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Colour Specialist graduates, having successfully completed the 15-day Diploma course and passed the official L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Colour Specialist final exam. Entries are judged based on exceptional execution and technical correctness, aligning with the values of L’Oréal Professionnel Paris.
Diana Gavrila: The Visionary Winner Diana Gavrila from Headmasters Wandsworth stood out with her exceptional talent and creativity, securing the top spot in the L’Oréal Colour Specialist Award category. Her artistic vision and technical expertise wowed the judges, making her the deserving winner of this esteemed award. She was awarded her trophy by two of the category judges; top Scottish Hairdresser Alan Edwards and leading UK colourist Nathan Walker. As part of her prize Diana and her model will attend the winners photoshoot where her winning look will be captured by a professional photographer.
The 67th Annual L’Oréal Colour Trophy UK Grand Final: A Night of Artistry The 67th Annual L’Oréal Colour Trophy UK Grand Final took place at the iconic Battersea Evolution, on Monday 11th July, hosted by the talented presenter and documentary maker, Zara McDermott. As the founding country of the longest-running live hairdressing competition, the UK Grand Final once again proved to be an unforgettable evening, highlighting the highest level of hair artistry.
