On Monday, July 8th, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy UK 2024 Grand Final unfolded at Old Billingsgate, London, marking a night of spectacular hair artistry and innovation. Hosted by Clara Amfo and supported by the likes of Lisa Snowden, Twiggy Jalloh, and Hannah Martin, the event celebrated 155 competition models and crowned the #LCT24 category winners.
At the 68th L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards, team Headmasters demonstrated strong talent with 14 members competing across various categories. Among the talented contestants, Edd Moss from Headmasters Soho, who is also a part of the esteemed HM Artistic Team, stood out by winning the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Afro Award. This award highlights the skill in creating modern, inspirational, and well-executed hair colour looks for Afro-textured hair.
“This win is amazing! All the finalists were incredibly strong, so I feel truly honoured,” says Edd. “I have a passion for working with Afro and textured hair and have dedicated the past two years to honing my skills in this area.”

The event not only showcased outstanding performances and creative displays but also celebrated the achievements of talented individuals and salons across the UK.
In its 68th year, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy continued to push the boundaries of hair artistry and innovation, hosting a tech-powered final at a new venue. The event featured installations by fashion designer Jack Irving, with hair by Jack Merrick-Thirlway and the Neville’s team, setting a vibrant and creative tone for the night.
As the night drew to a close, the winners were celebrated with a high-energy set from TikTok DJ twins ALTÉGO, providing a fitting climax to an evening of extraordinary talent and creativity.
