This year we are celebrating an impressive 40 years on the high street delivering fashionable, beautiful, confidence-boosting hair from 55 salons across London and the South east.
To see in our 40th year we decided to put their salon staff centre stage by choosing twelve of them to feature in their annual brand image campaign.
Headmasters is what it is because of its people, says Creative Director, Andrew Barton. “so we wanted to put them right at the front for clients to see who we are and who makes it happen!”
The eight hundred strong hairdressing team from across the group were invited to apply to be in the photo shoot and a shortlist of thirty were invited to an X-factor style audition to choose the final twelve.
“It was incredibly difficult to narrow it down from thirty” says Barton “we wanted to have different stories and careers, and levels and from different salons with Headmasters and to really be our team heroes for the year “ .
The lucky final twelve attended a 2-day photoshoot with leading beauty and fashion photographer Jack Eames who created the most beautiful collection of portraits which will form the basis of the new campaign.
The campaign, named #weareheadmasters launches in salons this month ahead of Headmasters official birthday in May.
