Headmasters have launched a new Curl Experts Programme to ensure that clients can be confident that whichever Headmasters salon they choose they will have a stylist with expertise in styling and colouring their hair, whatever the texture.
“As a brand we have always had the core value to be inclusive. We want to feel that anyone can come in for a great haircut, or colour or style at Headmasters, regardless of their hair texture” says Creative Director Andrew Barton, “we also feel that it is important to continually develop our team’s education to always keep it relevant to the needs of our clients”
The programme, headed up by award winning Creative Ambassador and afro hair specialist, Nicole Iroh, is designed to help stylists; understand how curly hair moves and reacts differently to straight hair; it’s different needs and requirements; identify different curl types; understand shapes and cutting techniques that work better on curly hair; with styling tips and tricks along with do’s and don’ts; confidently advise on colour placement, technique and product choice; where to look for inspiration, advice and knowledge and to give total confidence dealing with curly texture hair.
“We have at least one person from every Headmasters salon on the programme so that they become our Texture/ Curl ‘Hero’s’ and will pass on their new-found confidence and skills to others in the team. It ensures that as a company we can offer everyone a brilliant hair service regardless of hair type or texture” says Creative Ambassador Nicole Iroh
The launch of the Texture Experts, later this year will form part of the Love Curl Window Campaign with images from the new 2021 Love Headmasters campaign collection and will also see the launch of an extended texture / curl services menu.
