Great hair doesn’t stop at the salon door. That was the whole idea behind this Art Team content day. We wanted to take some of our favourite looks out into London and shoot them exactly where they belong. In the real world, in real light, on real people living their lives.
From a scalp bleach to a curl colour transformation, a beautifully blonde package to a sharp, precise bob – here’s a look at what our Art Team created. And here is the talent behind every single one.
Grey Blending – Clare, Creative Director
Grey blending is one of the most requested techniques across our salons right now – and it’s easy to see why. Rather than covering grey entirely, the technique works with your natural tones to create a seamless, multi dimensional result. It feels intentional and modern. Soft, lived-in and completely effortless.
But as this look proves, colour is only half the story. Clare, our Creative Director, styled this grey blending result on the day. The blow-dry is every bit as much a part of the finished look as the colour itself. The movement, the smoothness, the way the tones catch the light – that’s the magic of great styling. It’s something our team never underestimate. Beautiful colour deserves a beautiful finish, and this is exactly that.
The Full Head Bleach & Barber Cut – Sean, Soho
There’s something undeniably striking about a really well-executed bleach – and this one is a masterclass in doing it properly. Sean from our Soho salon took his model through a full head bleach on extended regrowth. He pre-toned and toned the hair to achieve a flawless, even result. Before finishing with a precise barber’s cut that gives the whole look its sharp, considered edge.
A full head bleach is one of the most technical colour services we offer. The preparation, the timing and the toning all have to be exactly right to protect the integrity of the hair. This matters while achieving maximum lift. Sean’s result speaks for itself: clean, bright and beautifully finished with a cut that completes the look perfectly.
Beautifully Blonde – Miles, Clapham High Street
Miles from our Clapham High Street salon joined the Art Team this year. If this look is anything to go by, he’s already completely at home in it. Using our Beautifully Blonde package, Miles created a luminous, high-definition blonde from root to tip. He used back-to-back foiling for maximum, even lift all over, finished with a bespoke toner that gives the colour its gorgeous, polished depth.
The result feels effortlessly London – bright, confident and exactly the kind of blonde that makes people stop and ask who did your hair.
The Full Works – Charlotte, Staines
If you’ve ever wondered what’s possible in a single salon appointment, Charlotte from our Staines salon answered that question beautifully. One model, one day, one extraordinary result – a full head balayage, root melt, toner, cut and blow-dry, and a Kérastase Première bond repair treatment to keep the hair in perfect condition throughout.
The root melt creates a seamless, shadow-root effect that blends beautifully into the balayage. In addition, it gives the colour incredible depth and dimension while keeping the grow-out as natural and low-maintenance as possible. Finished with a toner to perfect the shade and a Première treatment to restore strength and shine. This is the kind of result that reminds you why a great consultation and a skilled pair of hands make all the difference.
The Bob – Pervin Mayfair
A great bob is one of the most satisfying things to get right – and Pervin from our Mayfair salon made it look completely effortless. Clean lines, beautiful weight distribution and a finish that moves exactly as it should. Shot just around the corner from the salon, this is the kind of cut that looks incredible everywhere. In the chair, on the street, on a Tuesday morning and on a Saturday night.

Curl Contouring – Daniella, Crystal Palace & Danielle, Dulwich
Textured hair deserves colour that works with its shape, movement and definition – creating dimension while keeping curls looking healthy, vibrant and full of life. Carefully placed colour can completely elevate the texture and bring every coil and curl pattern to life. And that’s exactly what Daniella from Crystal Palace and Danielle from Dulwich delivered here.
Using our specialist Curl Contouring technique – working with the hair in its natural, dried state and hand-picking individual curls to place colour where it will have the most impact – the result is dimension that feels completely natural. Importantly, it is a colour that moves with the curl rather than against it, and a finish that looks just as incredible in natural daylight as it does in the salon.

Summer Lites – Amanda, Cobham
Amanda from our Cobham salon – a semi-finalist at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy – created this gorgeous Summer Lites look, and it’s the definition of effortless warm-weather colour. She used a carefully selected placement of highlights to brighten exactly where the sun would naturally catch the hair. The result is soft, radiant and completely natural-looking. The kind of colour that looks like you’ve just come back from somewhere sunny.
